Does it work?
- L-theanine calms the mind and alleviates anxiety so you can fall asleep easier without re-running the days events, or even tomorrows. Usually "turning your brain off" is a key to falling asleep without tossing and turning.
- L-tryptophan converts to melatonin, the sleepy time hormone to help regulate your body clock and sleep deeper. Melatonin is produced when you are supposed to be sleeping, but if your body clock gets a bit messed up, you don't produce it a the right time. The body can use L-tryptophan to make melatonin.
